Kofte
1 kilo kıyma
2 adet orta boy sogan ve 5-6 diş sarmısak rondodan gecir.
1 demet maydonoz (istege bağlı)
2 yumurta

Yarım bardak ekmek kırıntısı
Yarım bardak un
1 yemek kaşığı buğday veya mısır nişastası
Kekik, tuz, 2 tbsp kimyon, karabiber, kirmizi pul biber
1 yemek kaşığı zeytinyağı
Eğer katı olursa biraz süt
Meat Ball
4 pound ground meat
2 middle size onions
5-6 cloves garlic
5-6 cloves garlic
1 bunch of parsley (preferable)
4 eggs
1 cup bread crumbs4 eggs

1 small spoon wheat or corn starch
2 tbsp cumin

If it is a little hard, add a little milk.
Knead meat with salt and all other spiceses before adding other ingredient. Add grated onions, garlic, eggs, crumbs, flour, starch. If prefered, add shredded parsley. And mix all ingredients together. Snap off a piece of meat as big as your palm. Round it and fry or bake all balls. Bon appetite!!!
If you are going to make a meat loaf, spread the meat on aluminum folio, put some sauted pepper, mashroom and carrot in the center of spreaded meat widthwise. Wrap them with meat and then with aluminum folio and put 350 F preheated oven. After 45 minutes, take it out and spread tomato basil souce all over meat loaf and put it in oven 15 minutes more. And then serve it with green leaves in the plate. Bon appetit!!!
If you want to prepare Izmir Kofte, after you fried the meat balls, fry 2 slices potatos and align them in a tray as one meat ball by one potato. Make a sauce with 3-4 tomatoes, 4-5 cloves garlic, salt and black pepper and spread this on meatball and potatoes. Chop one green pepper and one red pepper and scatter them on meatball tray and put the tray in preheated oven. After 30 minutes, take it out and serve on the plate. Bon appetite!!!
